We worked with a dog trainer for some tips for our wonderful but sometimes extremely stubborn pup and he suggested that the Dogtra IQ plus was the ONLY way to go for a training collar. We thought it would be too small for our big dogs (staffy / pitbull x) but he promised it would be great and is so much less bulky than a lot of other remote collars. We have never gone past level 40 (nick only) and we literally do not even need a leash any longer. Its amazing. Honestly, we probably don’t really even need it any more because after using it only a few times, our dogs walk beside us (when we ask them to) and do not even approach other dogs (unless we let them/tell them to go ahead). Same with barking in the yard. One of them insisted on barking constantly just at neighbours doing yard work, so we used it on her maybe twice and now if she barks and we call her, she stops immediately.We didn’t think we would ever use one but as a last resort for a couple of stubborn issues where nothing else we tried worked, and we are now so happy we did because we tried it on ourselves first and so we know we are not hurting them and it just worked so well. We really read up on them and discussed at length with a trainer before using…which I would implore anyone to do so as not to misuse and harm your pup.

My toy poodle barks A LOT! If I’m in the same room, I can tell him to be quiet and he will (usually). The issue I had was at night when he roamed the house and we were asleep. He would hear noises and bark non stop. As we are sleeping in another room, I would have to get up and tell him to be quiet, but he would always start barking again an hour later. After many nights of interrupted sleep I was tearing my hair out. I bought the collar and tested it during the day. We had someone ring the doorbell and our dog did his usual trick of running and barking like crazy. The collar beeped and he didn’t hear it! He barked again and the next beep, it made him pause, but he barked again so the collar buzzed. This made him stop and look around surprised. We rang the doorbell again and this time, it took 2 beeps to make him stop. When someone came to the door in the evening, one beep and he stopped barking. That night, I heard him bark once and stop immediately. It works!!! Now we only put the collar on at night. Our dog knows when we are switching collars. He immediately behaves differently and moderates his barking. During the day, he barks as usual and I don’t mind as I like him to alert me if someone is approaching the house. At night, we can finally sleep!
Hi I’m PJ, and my dog is addicted to barking. And not just barking. He likes to yowl and bork and howl as if the very hounds of hell are racing up the driveway.Fly in the house? Must bork.Black sack looking ominous? Must bark as if death himself is about to emerge from said sack.Branch fallen on the ground? Growling and frenzied barking are required to ensure branch does not try and kill anyone.You get the picture.But the worst, most ear exploding, most eye rupturing sounds are saved for the car.The yowls and psychotic bork-borking when we near the park or (heaven forbid) I get out of the car without him, are loud enough to bring whole armies to their knees.All from a pup that is only slightly bigger than my cat.We’ve tried many methods to stop this car carnage. Bribes, threats, distraction, dog whistles and the good old squirty water bottle amongst them.But his need to carry on like someone is ripping his entrails out has proven too much of an addiction.I point blank refuse to use anything that would hurt him, so citronella and electric shock collars were never an option.This little beeping, vibrating thingummy was last option before we gave in and started using ear plugs.Turned it up to 3 and popped it on his neck to a high level of snugness and drove off. And bugger me Aunty Edith’s old backgammon set. Woofing in the car is muchly reduced. MUCHLY reduced.He still goes bork-bork batshit if I leave the car, but the rest of the journey, although not totally silent, is MUCH better.
Our Jack Russell / Bits-a (bits of this. Bits of that), is a good boy EXCEPT at sunset and early dark. Not sure why, but he go crazy every night, leading to us having to tie him up all night. Now, thanks to the Shut the Bark Up collar, we’ve not tied the dog up over night once. The whole family is now getting better sleep with not having to get up at night to let him go to the toilet… If your dog barks too much, this really works with helping / teaching dogs to bark less. Battery life is good as well. The only thing I couldn’t work out was how to change the front face plate. Appart from that, I’m happy and would recommend it to anyone. Not humans though….
I am using these on my Belgian malinois and after 1 month all is fine. I only charge the collars every other day. The slide switch between the two collars I thought i wouldn’t like but has been fine and makes it unlikely that the wrong dog will get corrected. I do put the same color collar on each dog everyday, so I know who is always #1 and who is always #2. I do wish there was a belt clip on the controller, but it’s ok on a lanyard.
Spent alot of money on cheap collars when I should have gotten these from the beginning. Works great. Plenty of power. Will update if I come across any negatives.
THIS IS EDITED. After the first collar stopped working in only 2 months, the company sent me a replacement… THAT collar crapped out after almost 3 months. For almost $200 I would expect this to last much longer. My Frenchie does not go swimming, hunting, sky diving , or any other activities that I might attribute to maybe causing the shock function to stop working. The pager was still working, but the shock feature stopped on both collars. Disappointing, as this, when it is working is a good tool.Original review: I was hesitant to use this, I had to get a private trainer to get my Charlie to listen to me. She recommended this product, it has been a game changer. Now, after only a very short time (less than a week) he comes when I call him…even at the dog park while playing with other dogs! I rarely have to use it, he knows when I give a command to react appropriately!I don’t have to worry now, if he gets away from me…he will come when I call him.
Received this, fully charged it and started using it. It was amazing the difference in our dog. Then later on in the day went out for more training and I was pushing the button and saying my command and my dog was totally not listening. I would push it and be saying my command simultaneously for 10-15 times and then all of a sudden my dog would yelp and jump like he had just gotten shocked. I immediately took it off and put it in my hand and pushed the button. I felt nothing for probably 15-20 pushes and then suddenly I’d feel a big surge of a shock. Tried contacting the company and couldn’t get through so I returned it. Very disappointed.
The product is a good price for a system for two dogs, and my dogs are responding well to the vibrate feature if they are too far to hear me call them. They will return whenever I call them even without even using any features “IF” they are wearing the collars. I did replace the cheap plastic collars with nicer collars that I pre-fit and snap on. Would recommend the collars. I would give it a 5 star but I don’t like the plastic collars, but you can buy nicer ones to attach.
I just received the IQ MINI. I have always had two other brand manufacturer electronic collars (5 units in total) so I have had many units. I am very disappointed in the “rheostat dial”…….the dial does not have a locking or click in place mechanism to prevent the dial from inadvertently moving to a number much higher (or lower) than the intended static level…it would be easy to be holding the transmitter thinking the correction would be at 20 as set, but it moved 40 or 60. The correction should be swift with a push of the correction button, but now I have to look prior to each press of the correction button to make sure it has not moved….The reason I bought this collar was the size (my dog is 12 pounds) and I’m stuck in Boston during the Corona Virus and my other collar/s are in Florida….In my opinion this is a design error……Because of this I would not buy. The receiver size is great and smaller than my other collars.
So excited to get this for our little dog. Our big dogs have Sport Basic G3. The main feature of the ones we used on the schnauzers is the warning tone. There wasn’t anyway to train by sound unless you have clicker in one hand, remote in the other and the leash in your teeth. This taught me to look for ‘warning tone’ as a setting. Returned.
Great product! The ability to adjust between just get their attention with the slightest impulse, to grabbing their attention when they are fully distracted is huge. Very good battery life. Collar easy to fit to any dog. Two dog capacity is also huge!
I purchased this item and it didnt work they way they said so returned for refund but even though I paid $80 for items I only was refunded half with no explanation.
I have two dogs. One is 10 and has decided to bark whenever she wants ANYTHING! It’s annoying. She has a very thick coat so I really need to adjust it and put it on better. I don’t think has worked well yet. Or she doesn’t care. My short haired dog is afraid of her own shadow so I’m afraid to put in on her. I will continue to try and follow up later.
I bought this collar a couple of weeks ago for my 30 pound Wheaten Terrier after reading all of the great reviews on it. We got the dog last year when she was 6, and have had no luck trying to break her from the terrible habit of attacking anything with wheels (bikes, skateboards, strollers, etc). This collar worked wonders for her! We started by giving her the pulse option on the remote when she attacked something, followed by a quick shock right after. After doing that 3 times, we only needed to hit the pulse button, and she would stop attacking. Now, we don’t even have to do that. As long as she’s wearing the collar, she will just turn around and walk back to us, sit down and wait for the bikes, strollers or whatever to pass by. Hopefully, we won’t even need to put the collar on her soon!
This is our 2nd one, first one was for a German shepherd puppy , around 6 months he was really hard tomanage, he would ignore us telling him no, etc. But the vibration mode helped him to focus on us andit was an amazing change, it made our time with him so much better. He is now 2 years old and this is still working great. I bought a cheaper one and it worked not even a month. Just bought this new one for a 5 month old lab and same thing, if she is in the yard she eats everything and then throws up. By just saying No did notregister but the vibration worked to teach her no. It also taught them boundaries as only 3/4 of the yard isfenced. It also helped with leash training they can get carried away but the vibrate gets their attention. They now stay in the back yard and only had to use static a few times they went toward the road anddid not listen to us calling them back. (We are finishing the fence but on hold due to Covid 19. )
I have two dogtra 1900s. A black one and a camo one. The camo strap/buckle is not as good as the black. Not sure why, but after a month of using both i am sure about it. The camo loosens faster. BTW i love the 1900s. Maybe one of my best dog purchases.
We had this collar on our dog for a year now and we love it. We have a miniature golden doodle. About 23 lbs full grown. We have used this on him since he was 5 months all. It works amazing!!!!! Instead of buying electric fence we decided to use the collar to teach our dog where to go and where not. It worked amazing. It has a level from 0 to 100. For our dog for the shock we found best works at about 80. We only honestly shocked him maybe 3 times in that hole process. Now all we use is the vibrating button if he doesn’t listen. Usually though we don’t even have to press it. As soon as he sees us pick up the remote he does what he is told. I would definitely recommend this product to any dog owner that is looking to train their dog and for behavioural issues.
I had my first Dogtra for 10 years and it still works decently well. This new version is easier to use and has improved features. I’m sure it will be around for a long time as well.
Worked okay for the first month but battery dies really fast have to charge it way more then you should would recommend spending a little more for the better quality
While I was not too excited about having to use an e-collar for training at first, I soon realized the importance of one and the difference in them. When they are accurate you are a much better trainer than if they are off even by a few seconds. If I have to train my dog like this I want it to be as accurate as possible. It also is small to hold and comes on a lanyard for easy access. Thank you, Cherie
Second system, different dog, and works perfect. Had an issue with the charging cable not working right. I was able to trouble shoot it with my other system and dogtra sent me the part of the cable to fix it. Awesome.
0n the remote, The switch from collar 1 to 2 is very stiff. It is hard to tell by feel if it switched. My good dog felt the result of that….not happy. So now I have to look at at the control to make sure it is on the right dog. That defeats to purpose of instant feedback response.
After trying every technique to get my blood to stop barking when he heard something in the backyard, I decided to try an e-collar. I looked at the various cheaper options and eventually went with a higher end model. It seemed that all the cheap solutions cut corners to keep the price low.I can’t praise this collar enough. I really like how it adjusts itself to cut the guess work out of selecting the appropriate shock level. It worked right out if the box. My bloodhound starts his bark sequence, and eventually the collar adjusts itself to the point that my dog stops barking as I’m telling him no. It also keeps him from barking the next time out.
I am a professional dog trainer who works at a big kennel in Ontario Canada. We’ve tried every single bark collar in the market. The only one works properly is sportdog brand. The others get triggered by other dogs. Sportdog doesn’t.
it took long time to decide if to order these Exuby bark collar because they are described for small dogs. I have 3 West HIghland White Terriers, about 20 lb each, so not so small. Instead the collar is super adjustable and the strap can go a long length, so I believe it would fit even much bigger dogs. They should write the smallest and longest length in their description so more people would buy. I liked the fact that there are no prongs, so the only bother for the dog is the ultrasonic sound and vibration when they bark. My dogs are about 10 years old. At first they were puzzled, but in a matter of a few days, even keeping that collar on only for 5-6 hours I noticed they would bark less and less, so I keep it charge just in case, but I do not actually need to put it on. I had to find a solution because of a nasty neighbor who hates dogs’ barking and escalated it to a point that I had to defend myself and my dogs from his complaints. Wish they would offer a pack for 3 collars as well. Many people have 3 dogs. Not knowing how these collars were before ordering the pack with 2, I ordered the third one in a different brand just to try and test the difference, but they are very similar and work the same way. All together I would recommend this product.
I have a Shih-Tzu who barks when he sees people, cars, or even chipmunks outside. We live in a rural area so this happens maybe once an hour or so. He doesn’t stop until I draw his attention away from whatever made him bark. Working from home this means either the dog stays indoors where he is quiet, or I risk a barking dog in the background on conference calls. I was very, very nervous to use any type of collar to curb the barking problem. After reading up on no shock collars, I realized a beep would likely have the same result as me tapping the window – enough to pull his attention away with no physical discomfort. I decided to order the Exuby. I got the 2-pack because it was only $5 more and I thought I could keep one fully charged.The product is made in China. I don’t typically buy products that are not American made and was not aware this wasn’t, but since I already had it in my hand, it wasn’t a game-changer for me for this purchase. Of greater concern was, once I opened the package there was a cancer warning on the inside box. Luckily, there were numerous flyers in the box with a call us or email us with any questions note. Before doing anything with the collar I sent the following email to exuby: I just received my Exuby Barking Control Collar and on the package is a large warning that this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Specifically what chemicals is this warning referring to and specifically where in the collar are they located? I am concerned about my dog. Is this a danger only if ingested or is there danger just wearing it? The response came very quickly – within two hours. Response was: There are dangerous chemicals in lithium battery that is dangerous to us and our pets. But as long as the battery is not tampered with and is sealed it should be fine.Knowing my dog isn’t one to pull at or try to get out of a collar I felt it would be ok to use the product. If I had a dog that ate things, pulled or shredded collars, etc – I’d be cautious and maybe only use this under supervision. One additional note, the collar tends to want to slip when you tighten it so getting it set takes a little doing, but once done it’s great.On to the review: Very easy to charge, very lightweight so absolutely comfortable for my small dog. Easy on/off. The first beep did the trick – seriously. Since using this collar (I don’t leave it on him, I use it when he is outside unsupervised only), there have been 4 barks. One appropriate when the mailman pulled up. The mailman came to the porch for the delivery and pet the dog (very friendly dog, just barks before this collar!). We can now take the dog with us for rides, take him to public events, and overall having this collar on has made him less nervous. He understands it is not his job to warn us about everything. Overall, I would say the dog isn’t thrilled to see the collar come out, but he does let us put it on him and his behavior has improved without him seeming distressed or unhappy in any way. For us, this was a fabulous purchase.
Just got this today and our two small dogs were the quietest they have ever been! The vibration and beeping is enough to remind them not to bark but does not hurt them. So far so good! Love this product!! Used this to stop our cat from meowing non stop!! It works! Holds a long charge. We have let it go 4 days, still had life it could go longer. We are back to sleeping at night now that we have the meowing under control

I never write a review but this product deserves one. I purchased this for my yorkie terrier 6lbs she was driving me crazy barking at everything and anything, she use to jump on my visitors and leak their face and I was just going crazy. I purchased the collar and the vibration is enough for her sometimes when I get people over all I do is show her the remote and she knows automatically now without even having to put the collar on . I am very happy with this purchase.

I really wanted this to work. This BRAND was even recommended to me by my dog trainer. My dog would at times bark a lot and it would not ALWAYS go off. About half the time. I tighten it like it suggested. The prongs are really long and I felt like I would have chocked my dog if it had been any tighter. I researched how to set the settings. In case I was doing something wrong. I even keep it for a while and used it. I tested it on myself even though you are not suppose to. It’s a decent shock even on a low setting. The dog was a lot quieter but I would rather have something that made more accurate corrections with less of a shock. In the past I have used e-collars and my dogs have done well with them. I tried to get the previous brand I had but it no longer seems to be available. I got two of them and to be fair it worked better on the one dog then the other. The one dog that it worked on knows e-collars and won’t bark once it is on. The other is a younger dog with a high voice. She does not know e-collars and it did not work well on her. It is very well made. Quality wise. For me I want something a little different.
These collars are great. Bought this as our springer pup has outgrown the smaller one now.Being a springer he loves the bushes, brambles, long grass even gorse. He has got into a bit of bother and the collar splits exactly as I want it too. Too many horror stories or dogs like springers getting choked when tangled up out of site in a bush.Cannot fault this collar and recommend it to all who worry about their active bush diving nutty dog choking.
This is an amazing bark collar. I have their trainer collar ET 300 that was recommended by our dog trainer so I felt comfortable making this purchase. Within 1 night my dog stopped barking. I like the counter feature on it. The 1st night using this my dog has 15 corrections the 2nd night he had 2 correction’s. Now he does not bark at all. It’s very easy to set up and use and the battery last a very long time
I bought this a couple of months back after my friend’s dog died when his collar caught on a window latch while my friend was out. My dog’s lead caught on a seat belt pod as she got out of the car just now. I clip the lead to only one ring on the collar when travelling and the collar released as expected. It may well have prevented an injury. Thank you Keepsafe! The collar is well made, with good quality fittings. It is soft and flexible enough for my very fine-coated staffy cross. Some collars rub her but this one is fine. I’ll never go back to using a normal collar, especially after today’s incident.
Product has a severe design flaw for all long haired dogs that require the longer electrodes and bark sensor. This sensor requires an extension piece that slip fits over the bark sensor. When (not if) this piece falls off (see slip fit) the collar will no longer register any barking. Too bad, as until the piece fell off it was working. I was told that they would replace the extension piece one time as a warranty issue and that if that one falls off then I have a rather expensive paper weight. Not exactly the customer service you would expect for a $100 dog collar.

When I bought it, I not only missed that it comes without the citronella canister, I also missed how you have to buy three canisters to get this brand’s canister. I did take a chance and buy another brand’s, and I’m happy to report it works.I tested the color out on my own dog before giving the gift and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked deterring my dog from barking at our mini pig. When my friend used it on her dog, she reported it works.
I currently have the one pictured and it’s pretty good. My dog broke it but that’s him. Ordered a new one and they did not send me the one pictured. It’s one I previously owned and it’s not as good. Also the battery would not stay in place. It’s cheaply made.
Works well. My foster dog was barking a lot at night in her crate. Now she’s not. I just put this on at bedtime and took it off in the morning. Now I don’t even have to use it anymore.
Only took one day for my Moodle to learn that if the collar goes on barking stops! We remove when he is quiet. He responds to the alarm beep and doesn’t let it get to the vibration. Sometimes we can just show him the collar and he stops. Only negative is that if our other dog barks constantly it can trigger. Need another one!
I like that this does encourage our dog not to bark. Even though it’s NOT a shock collar it has two prongs on it to transfer the vibrations. I’m not sure if I like that but overall it’s a successful purchase.

Honestly, we probably don’t really even need it any more because after using it only a few times, our dogs walk beside us (when we ask them to) and do not even approach other dogs (unless we let them/tell them to go ahead). Same with barking in the yard. One of them insisted on barking constantly just at neighbours doing yard work, so we used it on her maybe twice and now if she barks and we call her, she stops immediately.We didn’t think we would ever use one but as a last resort for a couple of stubborn issues where nothing else we tried worked, and we are now so happy we did because we tried it on ourselves first and so we know we are not hurting them and it just worked so well. We really read up on them and discussed at length with a trainer before using…which I would implore anyone to do so as not to misuse and harm your pup.

My toy poodle barks A LOT! If I’m in the same room, I can tell him to be quiet and he will (usually). The issue I had was at night when he roamed the house and we were asleep. He would hear noises and bark non stop. As we are sleeping in another room, I would have to get up and tell him to be quiet, but he would always start barking again an hour later. After many nights of interrupted sleep I was tearing my hair out. I bought the collar and tested it during the day. We had someone ring the doorbell and our dog did his usual trick of running and barking like crazy. The collar beeped and he didn’t hear it! He barked again and the next beep, it made him pause, but he barked again so the collar buzzed. This made him stop and look around surprised. We rang the doorbell again and this time, it took 2 beeps to make him stop. When someone came to the door in the evening, one beep and he stopped barking. That night, I heard him bark once and stop immediately. It works!!! Now we only put the collar on at night. Our dog knows when we are switching collars. He immediately behaves differently and moderates his barking. During the day, he barks as usual and I don’t mind as I like him to alert me if someone is approaching the house. At night, we can finally sleep!
Hi I’m PJ, and my dog is addicted to barking. And not just barking. He likes to yowl and bork and howl as if the very hounds of hell are racing up the driveway.Fly in the house? Must bork.Black sack looking ominous? Must bark as if death himself is about to emerge from said sack.Branch fallen on the ground? Growling and frenzied barking are required to ensure branch does not try and kill anyone.You get the picture.But the worst, most ear exploding, most eye rupturing sounds are saved for the car.The yowls and psychotic bork-borking when we near the park or (heaven forbid) I get out of the car without him, are loud enough to bring whole armies to their knees.All from a pup that is only slightly bigger than my cat.We’ve tried many methods to stop this car carnage. Bribes, threats, distraction, dog whistles and the good old squirty water bottle amongst them.But his need to carry on like someone is ripping his entrails out has proven too much of an addiction.I point blank refuse to use anything that would hurt him, so citronella and electric shock collars were never an option.This little beeping, vibrating thingummy was last option before we gave in and started using ear plugs.Turned it up to 3 and popped it on his neck to a high level of snugness and drove off. And bugger me Aunty Edith’s old backgammon set. Woofing in the car is muchly reduced. MUCHLY reduced.He still goes bork-bork batshit if I leave the car, but the rest of the journey, although not totally silent, is MUCH better.
Our Jack Russell / Bits-a (bits of this. Bits of that), is a good boy EXCEPT at sunset and early dark. Not sure why, but he go crazy every night, leading to us having to tie him up all night. Now, thanks to the Shut the Bark Up collar, we’ve not tied the dog up over night once. The whole family is now getting better sleep with not having to get up at night to let him go to the toilet… If your dog barks too much, this really works with helping / teaching dogs to bark less. Battery life is good as well. The only thing I couldn’t work out was how to change the front face plate. Appart from that, I’m happy and would recommend it to anyone. Not humans though….
I am using these on my Belgian malinois and after 1 month all is fine. I only charge the collars every other day. The slide switch between the two collars I thought i wouldn’t like but has been fine and makes it unlikely that the wrong dog will get corrected. I do put the same color collar on each dog everyday, so I know who is always #1 and who is always #2. I do wish there was a belt clip on the controller, but it’s ok on a lanyard.
Spent alot of money on cheap collars when I should have gotten these from the beginning. Works great. Plenty of power. Will update if I come across any negatives.

THIS IS EDITED. After the first collar stopped working in only 2 months, the company sent me a replacement… THAT collar crapped out after almost 3 months. For almost $200 I would expect this to last much longer. My Frenchie does not go swimming, hunting, sky diving , or any other activities that I might attribute to maybe causing the shock function to stop working. The pager was still working, but the shock feature stopped on both collars. Disappointing, as this, when it is working is a good tool.Original review: I was hesitant to use this, I had to get a private trainer to get my Charlie to listen to me. She recommended this product, it has been a game changer. Now, after only a very short time (less than a week) he comes when I call him…even at the dog park while playing with other dogs! I rarely have to use it, he knows when I give a command to react appropriately!I don’t have to worry now, if he gets away from me…he will come when I call him.
Received this, fully charged it and started using it. It was amazing the difference in our dog. Then later on in the day went out for more training and I was pushing the button and saying my command and my dog was totally not listening. I would push it and be saying my command simultaneously for 10-15 times and then all of a sudden my dog would yelp and jump like he had just gotten shocked. I immediately took it off and put it in my hand and pushed the button. I felt nothing for probably 15-20 pushes and then suddenly I’d feel a big surge of a shock. Tried contacting the company and couldn’t get through so I returned it. Very disappointed.
The product is a good price for a system for two dogs, and my dogs are responding well to the vibrate feature if they are too far to hear me call them. They will return whenever I call them even without even using any features “IF” they are wearing the collars. I did replace the cheap plastic collars with nicer collars that I pre-fit and snap on. Would recommend the collars. I would give it a 5 star but I don’t like the plastic collars, but you can buy nicer ones to attach.
I just received the IQ MINI. I have always had two other brand manufacturer electronic collars (5 units in total) so I have had many units. I am very disappointed in the “rheostat dial”…….the dial does not have a locking or click in place mechanism to prevent the dial from inadvertently moving to a number much higher (or lower) than the intended static level…it would be easy to be holding the transmitter thinking the correction would be at 20 as set, but it moved 40 or 60. The correction should be swift with a push of the correction button, but now I have to look prior to each press of the correction button to make sure it has not moved….The reason I bought this collar was the size (my dog is 12 pounds) and I’m stuck in Boston during the Corona Virus and my other collar/s are in Florida….In my opinion this is a design error……Because of this I would not buy. The receiver size is great and smaller than my other collars.
So excited to get this for our little dog. Our big dogs have Sport Basic G3. The main feature of the ones we used on the schnauzers is the warning tone. There wasn’t anyway to train by sound unless you have clicker in one hand, remote in the other and the leash in your teeth. This taught me to look for ‘warning tone’ as a setting. Returned.
Great product! The ability to adjust between just get their attention with the slightest impulse, to grabbing their attention when they are fully distracted is huge. Very good battery life. Collar easy to fit to any dog. Two dog capacity is also huge!
I purchased this item and it didnt work they way they said so returned for refund but even though I paid $80 for items I only was refunded half with no explanation.

I have two dogs. One is 10 and has decided to bark whenever she wants ANYTHING! It’s annoying. She has a very thick coat so I really need to adjust it and put it on better. I don’t think has worked well yet. Or she doesn’t care. My short haired dog is afraid of her own shadow so I’m afraid to put in on her. I will continue to try and follow up later.
I bought this collar a couple of weeks ago for my 30 pound Wheaten Terrier after reading all of the great reviews on it. We got the dog last year when she was 6, and have had no luck trying to break her from the terrible habit of attacking anything with wheels (bikes, skateboards, strollers, etc). This collar worked wonders for her! We started by giving her the pulse option on the remote when she attacked something, followed by a quick shock right after. After doing that 3 times, we only needed to hit the pulse button, and she would stop attacking. Now, we don’t even have to do that. As long as she’s wearing the collar, she will just turn around and walk back to us, sit down and wait for the bikes, strollers or whatever to pass by. Hopefully, we won’t even need to put the collar on her soon!
This is our 2nd one, first one was for a German shepherd puppy , around 6 months he was really hard tomanage, he would ignore us telling him no, etc. But the vibration mode helped him to focus on us andit was an amazing change, it made our time with him so much better. He is now 2 years old and this is still working great. I bought a cheaper one and it worked not even a month. Just bought this new one for a 5 month old lab and same thing, if she is in the yard she eats everything and then throws up. By just saying No did notregister but the vibration worked to teach her no. It also taught them boundaries as only 3/4 of the yard isfenced. It also helped with leash training they can get carried away but the vibrate gets their attention. They now stay in the back yard and only had to use static a few times they went toward the road anddid not listen to us calling them back. (We are finishing the fence but on hold due to Covid 19. )
I have two dogtra 1900s. A black one and a camo one. The camo strap/buckle is not as good as the black. Not sure why, but after a month of using both i am sure about it. The camo loosens faster. BTW i love the 1900s. Maybe one of my best dog purchases.
We had this collar on our dog for a year now and we love it. We have a miniature golden doodle. About 23 lbs full grown. We have used this on him since he was 5 months all. It works amazing!!!!! Instead of buying electric fence we decided to use the collar to teach our dog where to go and where not. It worked amazing. It has a level from 0 to 100. For our dog for the shock we found best works at about 80. We only honestly shocked him maybe 3 times in that hole process. Now all we use is the vibrating button if he doesn’t listen. Usually though we don’t even have to press it. As soon as he sees us pick up the remote he does what he is told. I would definitely recommend this product to any dog owner that is looking to train their dog and for behavioural issues.
I had my first Dogtra for 10 years and it still works decently well. This new version is easier to use and has improved features. I’m sure it will be around for a long time as well.
Worked okay for the first month but battery dies really fast have to charge it way more then you should would recommend spending a little more for the better quality
While I was not too excited about having to use an e-collar for training at first, I soon realized the importance of one and the difference in them. When they are accurate you are a much better trainer than if they are off even by a few seconds. If I have to train my dog like this I want it to be as accurate as possible. Second system, different dog, and works perfect. Had an issue with the charging cable not working right. I was able to trouble shoot it with my other system and dogtra sent me the part of the cable to fix it. Awesome.
0n the remote, The switch from collar 1 to 2 is very stiff. It is hard to tell by feel if it switched. My good dog felt the result of that….not happy. So now I have to look at at the control to make sure it is on the right dog. That defeats to purpose of instant feedback response.

After trying every technique to get my blood to stop barking when he heard something in the backyard, I decided to try an e-collar. I looked at the various cheaper options and eventually went with a higher end model. It seemed that all the cheap solutions cut corners to keep the price low.I can’t praise this collar enough. I really like how it adjusts itself to cut the guess work out of selecting the appropriate shock level. It worked right out if the box. My bloodhound starts his bark sequence, and eventually the collar adjusts itself to the point that my dog stops barking as I’m telling him no. It also keeps him from barking the next time out.
I am a professional dog trainer who works at a big kennel in Ontario Canada. We’ve tried every single bark collar in the market. The only one works properly is sportdog brand. The others get triggered by other dogs. Sportdog doesn’t.
it took long time to decide if to order these Exuby bark collar because they are described for small dogs. I have 3 West HIghland White Terriers, about 20 lb each, so not so small. Instead the collar is super adjustable and the strap can go a long length, so I believe it would fit even much bigger dogs. They should write the smallest and longest length in their description so more people would buy. I liked the fact that there are no prongs, so the only bother for the dog is the ultrasonic sound and vibration when they bark. My dogs are about 10 years old. At first they were puzzled, but in a matter of a few days, even keeping that collar on only for 5-6 hours I noticed they would bark less and less, so I keep it charge just in case, but I do not actually need to put it on. I had to find a solution because of a nasty neighbor who hates dogs’ barking and escalated it to a point that I had to defend myself and my dogs from his complaints. Wish they would offer a pack for 3 collars as well. Many people have 3 dogs. Not knowing how these collars were before ordering the pack with 2, I ordered the third one in a different brand just to try and test the difference, but they are very similar and work the same way. All together I would recommend this product.
I have a Shih-Tzu who barks when he sees people, cars, or even chipmunks outside. We live in a rural area so this happens maybe once an hour or so. He doesn’t stop until I draw his attention away from whatever made him bark. Working from home this means either the dog stays indoors where he is quiet, or I risk a barking dog in the background on conference calls. I was very, very nervous to use any type of collar to curb the barking problem. After reading up on no shock collars, I realized a beep would likely have the same result as me tapping the window – enough to pull his attention away with no physical discomfort. I decided to order the Exuby. I got the 2-pack because it was only $5 more and I thought I could keep one fully charged.The product is made in China. I don’t typically buy products that are not American made and was not aware this wasn’t, but since I already had it in my hand, it wasn’t a game-changer for me for this purchase. Of greater concern was, once I opened the package there was a cancer warning on the inside box. Luckily, there were numerous flyers in the box with a call us or email us with any questions note. Before doing anything with the collar I sent the following email to exuby: I just received my Exuby Barking Control Collar and on the package is a large warning that this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Specifically what chemicals is this warning referring to and specifically where in the collar are they located? I am concerned about my dog. Is this a danger only if ingested or is there danger just wearing it? The response came very quickly – within two hours. Response was: There are dangerous chemicals in lithium battery that is dangerous to us and our pets. But as long as the battery is not tampered with and is sealed it should be fine.Knowing my dog isn’t one to pull at or try to get out of a collar I felt it would be ok to use the product. If I had a dog that ate things, pulled or shredded collars, etc – I’d be cautious and maybe only use this under supervision. One additional note, the collar tends to want to slip when you tighten it so getting it set takes a little doing, but once done it’s great.On to the review: Very easy to charge, very lightweight so absolutely comfortable for my small dog. Easy on/off. The first beep did the trick – seriously. Since using this collar (I don’t leave it on him, I use it when he is outside unsupervised only), there have been 4 barks. One appropriate when the mailman pulled up. The mailman came to the porch for the delivery and pet the dog (very friendly dog, just barks before this collar!). We can now take the dog with us for rides, take him to public events, and overall having this collar on has made him less nervous. He understands it is not his job to warn us about everything. Overall, I would say the dog isn’t thrilled to see the collar come out, but he does let us put it on him and his behavior has improved without him seeming distressed or unhappy in any way. For us, this was a fabulous purchase.
Just got this today and our two small dogs were the quietest they have ever been! The vibration and beeping is enough to remind them not to bark but does not hurt them. So far so good! Only reason it has 4 stars is because it beeped often when my smallest dog (5 lbs) would shake but she is tiny so I will try tightening it a little tomorrow.

Love this product!! Used this to stop our cat from meowing non stop!! It works! Holds a long charge. We have let it go 4 days, still had life it could go longer. We are back to sleeping at night now that we have the meowing under control

I never write a review but this product deserves one. I purchased this for my yorkie terrier 6lbs she was driving me crazy barking at everything and anything, she use to jump on my visitors and leak their face and I was just going crazy. I purchased the collar and the vibration is enough for her sometimes when I get people over all I do is show her the remote and she knows automatically now without even having to put the collar on . I am very happy with this purchase.

I really wanted this to work. This BRAND was even recommended to me by my dog trainer. My dog would at times bark a lot and it would not ALWAYS go off. About half the time. I tighten it like it suggested. The prongs are really long and I felt like I would have chocked my dog if it had been any tighter. I researched how to set the settings. In case I was doing something wrong. I even keep it for a while and used it. I tested it on myself even though you are not suppose to. It’s a decent shock even on a low setting. The dog was a lot quieter but I would rather have something that made more accurate corrections with less of a shock. In the past I have used e-collars and my dogs have done well with them. I tried to get the previous brand I had but it no longer seems to be available. I got two of them and to be fair it worked better on the one dog then the other. The one dog that it worked on knows e-collars and won’t bark once it is on. The other is a younger dog with a high voice. She does not know e-collars and it did not work well on her. It is very well made. Quality wise. For me I want something a little different.
These collars are great. Bought this as our springer pup has outgrown the smaller one now.Being a springer he loves the bushes, brambles, long grass even gorse. He has got into a bit of bother and the collar splits exactly as I want it too. Too many horror stories or dogs like springers getting choked when tangled up out of site in a bush.Cannot fault this collar and recommend it to all who worry about their active bush diving nutty dog choking.
This is an amazing bark collar. I have their trainer collar ET 300 that was recommended by our dog trainer so I felt comfortable making this purchase. Within 1 night my dog stopped barking. I like the counter feature on it. The 1st night using this my dog has 15 corrections the 2nd night he had 2 correction’s. Now he does not bark at all. It’s very easy to set up and use and the battery last a very long time
I bought this a couple of months back after my friend’s dog died when his collar caught on a window latch while my friend was out. My dog’s lead caught on a seat belt pod as she got out of the car just now. I clip the lead to only one ring on the collar when travelling and the collar released as expected. It may well have prevented an injury. Thank you Keepsafe! The collar is well made, with good quality fittings. It is soft and flexible enough for my very fine-coated staffy cross. Some collars rub her but this one is fine. I’ll never go back to using a normal collar, especially after today’s incident.
Product has a severe design flaw for all long haired dogs that require the longer electrodes and bark sensor. This sensor requires an extension piece that slip fits over the bark sensor. When (not if) this piece falls off (see slip fit) the collar will no longer register any barking. Too bad, as until the piece fell off it was working. I was told that they would replace the extension piece one time as a warranty issue and that if that one falls off then I have a rather expensive paper weight. Not exactly the customer service you would expect for a $100 dog collar.

I currently have the one pictured and it’s pretty good. My dog broke it but that’s him. Ordered a new one and they did not send me the one pictured. It’s one I previously owned and it’s not as good. Also the battery would not stay in place. It’s cheaply made.
Works well. My foster dog was barking a lot at night in her crate. Now she’s not. I just put this on at bedtime and took it off in the morning. Now I don’t even have to use it anymore.
Only took one day for my Moodle to learn that if the collar goes on barking stops! We remove when he is quiet. He responds to the alarm beep and doesn’t let it get to the vibration. Sometimes we can just show him the collar and he stops. Only negative is that if our other dog barks constantly it can trigger. Need another one!
I like that this does encourage our dog not to bark. Even though it’s NOT a shock collar it has two prongs on it to transfer the vibrations. I’m not sure if I like that but overall it’s a successful purchase.
